Sanctuary is an upscale rural neighborhood in the Scripps Ranch community of San Diego, California. Residents enjoy many luxury amenities.
Sanctuary is known for its large estates that range from 4,775 to 5,599 square feet in living space with four to six bedrooms. This is one of many premier neighborhoods in this area including Arbors, Crown Collection, Loire Valley, San Angelo, Serenity, and Fairbrook Estates. This community offers many trails and open space giving residents peace and solitude. The Scripps Ranch area is located north of the Marine Corps Air Station Miramar, east of Interstate 15, and south of Poway.
There are several parks in this region and the Miramar Reservoir is popular for fishing boating, and picnicking. There is also a trail leading around the lake for hikers and mountain bikers. Interstate 15 is just minutes away and leads north to the Carmel Mountain Ranch Country Club. Besides practice facilities and a fully equipped golf shop, this club features a Ron Fream course. Banquet facilities as well as a bar and restaurant are available.
